CWC Summer Camp

The Creative Writing Camp is a free two-week summer session for high school students (entering freshmen through graduating seniors) interested in creative writing. The 2017 Creative Writing Camp will meet in UA’s Morgan Hall on Monday through Friday from 1:00pm – 4:00pm. Dates for the 2017 camp will be posted in the spring. The Creative Writing camp culminates with a final public reading on the last day and the publication of a student anthology showcasing the campers’ work.

The Creating Writing Camp will feature writing workshops in fiction, poetry, and non-fiction; small groups with experienced teachers from CWC’s spring after-school program;  feedback on student writing; readings by local writers; and electives on a variety of writing-related topics.
